What do I do if I can’t understand what my court order says?

Q.: What do I do if I can’t understand what my court order says?

A.: Reading orders of court (confusing court orders-not so confusing if you read them).

If you read an order of the court, and cannot understand what it means, read it again. After a few readings, if you do not understand what the order says, consult with a Hollywood divorce court lawyer.

Good advice of the day “did you know”: if an order does not make basic good common sense English sense, and if a person cannot understand what it actually states; then it’s probably a defective order.

Remember, just because lawyers sometimes used legalese, the best rules is to have orders and papers understandable by even the non-lawyer. If it is relatively easy to understand, it is probably well written.
